Job Description

The Entertainment Department at Kings Dominion is now looking for a talented and dedicated individual to become part of Entertainment\x92s Supervisory Team. Responsibilities,
\x95 Must professionally manage all performers, technicians, and ushers involved in festivals,
\x95 Maintain artistic and operational integrity of festivals,
\x95 Collaborate with Entertainment department to ensure all goals and objectives are reached, including rehearsal, install, operations and strike,
\x95 Provides comprehensive rehearsal and operational reports, schedules, production books, etc,
\x95 Must have supervisory stage management, strong guest relation, strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, organizational skills,
\x95 May need to perform House Manager duties,
\x95 Responsible for the discipline of their associates,
\x95 Promoting and maintaining a safe and positive work environment,
\x95 Maintaining facility and stage cleanliness,
\x95 Enforcing workplace rules and policies,
\x95 Ability to quickly respond to and deal with both guest and associate issues.,
\x95 Learning all technical tracks and other duties as necessary,
\x95 Adheres to and enforces all Cedar Fair and park specific policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies,
\x95 Other duties as assigned,

Qualifications,
\x95 Associates or BA in Theatre Management, Theatre Arts, or equivalent experience,
\x95 Professional supervisory stage management experience preferred,
\x95 Professional entertainment or theme park experience preferred,
\x95 Open availability with limited approved days off,
\x95 Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs,
\x95 Resume with related experience and education,
\x95 Must have some technical knowledge in lights and sound,
\x95 Must be 18 years of age or older,
\x95 Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per company policy,
\x95 Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.,
\x95 Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds,
