Supports and assists the Entertainment Department Management team, reporting directly to the Entertainment Technical Supervisor. Produces, manages, and plans projects installs for future events resort wide in collaboration with the Show Productions Specialist and Entertainment Technical Supervisor. This position maintains the functionality of all technical systems on a daily basis in order to assure the quality of the guest experience at LEGOLAND Florida Resort. ,

Main Responsibilities:,

Assists in Producing the Entertainment Technician schedule. Oversees Technical team on a daily basis to ensure show quality is maintained and adherence to operating procedures is followed at all times.,
Manages the preventative maintenance schedule for all Entertainment equipment as it relates to the Audio/Video and schedules the Technical team for work calls as required,
Maintains inventory of equipment in the Audio/Video Stock Room and submits purchase request t the Technical Supervisor to maintain sufficient shelf stock. ,
Ensures SOP\x92s and checkout sheets are kept up to date and monitors the training standards of all technical positions.,
Works alongside the team and demonstrates LEGOLAND Florida\x92s performance/service expectation by example.,
Able to carry out all Technician duties as outlined in the Technician job descriptions. ,
Works closely with the Entertainment Technical Supervisor to aid in the design and implementation of new technology to help enhance the technical aspects of the resort.,
Acts as a liaison and support for the Entertainment Technical Supervisor on a daily basis.,

About You/Background and Experience:,

,
Requires at least two years of experience in theme park technical entertainment or closely related field. A strong understanding of most of the following fields is required; network audio distribution, live show audio and video playback. Requires excellent organizational and planning skills, self-motivated and demonstrated initiative. Leads by example with a demonstrated history of supporting colleagues and a team player. Requires strong problem solving skills and dedication to providing outstanding Guest Service. Requires the ability to remain calm under pressure. Preferred experience working with Show Control (i.e. Alcorn McBride) as it relates to theme park industry. As well as working with 70v Audio Systems and 8 Ohm Audio Systems.,

Education:,

High school graduate, GED, or College Degree (or equivalent education and experience) is required. Advanced knowledge and understanding of Networked Audio Distribution (i.e. CobraNet and QSYS Environment), Live Show Audio and Video Playback, (i.e. QLAB, SFX) and experience with single source video players and media servers. Basic knowledge of Lighting, Audio, Pyrotechnics, and Video Systems in the Entrainment Industry is preferred. ,
