The Barrens Theatre Co. is looking looking for a Stage Manager for a project in the Spring, the world-premiere of SNAKEROOT by Levi Shrader. The Barrens recently ran its critically-acclaimed, sold-out production of BLOODY BATHORY, an immersive play about Countess Elizabeth Bathory. In that same vein of immersion, we are looking to create a wall-to-wall design to fully immerse audiences in the world of SNAKEROOT, which is set in various locations in Appalachia in 1997. The cast would be 4 people (1F, 3M) early to late 40s, plus 2 swings (1F, 1M).,,

Stage manager would run rehearsals, coordinate with production team, create and maintain tracking documents, calendars, and run sheets. They would also run the light and sound boards during performances with assistance from the ASM. ,
