FEE: $700.00/week, full-time with benefits such as vacation, sick leave, health insurance w/ 80% coverage, + comp tickets,

In 1979, Delaware Theatre Company found its first home in an abandoned firehouse in downtown Wilmington. After minor renovations funded by the city, individual donors and sweat equity, the company was ready to put on a show. From that very first day, the goal was to show that theatre\x97an ancient, powerful art form\x97could touch every human emotion. DTC has succeeded in doing so ever since. ,
The Assistant Technical Director is responsible for the construction of scenery and for assisting the Technical Director in scenic operations of the theatre. Responsibilities include:,
\x95Fabrication of scenic elements which may include paint and treatments on a show-by-show basis,
\x95Assisting the TD with scenic department planning and logistics including scheduling, drafting, brainstorming, etc.,
\x95Installation, designer notes, and maintenance of scenic elements,
\x95Care and upkeep of shop and stage equipment.,
\x95Oversight and organization of scene shop, scene dock, and stage with an eye towards safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.,
\x95Assist with other programs, events, Education, or special needs of DTC, including but not limited to, the Delaware Young Playwrights Festival, Totally Awesome Players, Totally Awesome Players 2, and Summer on Stage.,
\x95Facilities upkeep and upgrades in line with available skillset and time,
