Job Description

Syracuse Stage, the professional LORT theatre in residence at Syracuse University, is accepting resumes for an Executive Assistant (EA).,

The Executive Assistant reports to the Artistic and Managing Directors and serves as primary contact for their scheduling, travel logistics, expense reconciliation, correspondence, and general support. Further, the EA serves as liaison to the board of trustees, including meeting logistics, and preparation of agendas and minutes. In addition, the EA assists with dramaturgical activities including script acquisition and the coordination of local auditions. The EA also provides some administrative support to the Syracuse University Department of Drama.,

Ideal Candidate Skills and Education:,
Qualified candidates will have strong written + oral communication, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with Mac + PC proficiency. A background in theatre, especially in areas of stage or production management, is preferred.,

Position Dates and Salary:,
Position is full-time year round, non-exempt (eligible for overtime), generous benefits, salary range low to mid 30s.,

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:,
Work is generally performed during working day hours. Some events may require evenings or weekend work. ,
