The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrician to work in a high-end special event venue in the New York Metro Area on a full-time basis.,

Salary Range: $25 - $30 per hour; commensurate with experience,
,
Position Responsibilities:,
\x95 Installation, focus, and strike of theatrical lighting equipment and temporary electrical distribution,
\x95 Unload/load trucks as necessary during load-in/strike,
\x95 Follow direction from onsite leadership team,
\x95 Read and execute drafting and associated paperwork for productions,
\x95 Keep equipment assigned to the venue in good working order,
\x95 Maintain equipment storage areas,

Position Requirements:,
\x95 At least 2 years of experience as a stage electrician,
\x95 Experience working with conventional, LED, and automated lighting fixtures,
\x95 Experience with electrical distribution, DMX, and related control signals and dimming systems,
\x95 Working knowledge of basic electrical and rigging safety principles,
\x95 Ability to communicate effectively with clients, Frost staff, vendors, venue staff, etc.,
\x95 Availability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays,
\x95 Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive, collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers,

Preferred Qualifications:,
\x95 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
\x95 Have a valid driver\x92s license and acceptable driving record,
\x95 Able to lift up to 65 pounds,
\x95 Comfortable working at heights (on ladders and lifts),
