Maine State Music Theatre (MSMT), a CORST X AEA resident summer music theatre, is looking for a SOUND MANAGER. ,
,
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: interviewing and supervising a crew of 3; installation of the sound package; set up of all microphones, wired and wireless; backline gear, monitors, processing/effects equipment and the mixing console for all shows; working with Sound Designer with recording/editing sound effects; consulting with the directors + designers about all artistic/sound choices, maintain budget, attending all production meetings, and attending all technical rehearsals. ,

Successful candidate will have superior skills in mixing, editing, creating effects, and budgeting; strong communications, management and troubleshooting skills; works well under pressure, experience using DiGiCo sound consoles, Lectrosonics SSM wireless mics, Sennhesier wireless mics, and clear-comm wireless communication systems is required.,
