Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Director for our upcoming production of FLOOR SHOW starting immediately (load-In at Chopin Theater on February 3rd, opening on February 20th). Under the supervision of the Lead Producer, the Technical Director is responsible for implementing and executing a build plan based on the drafting provided by the scenic designer and within the materials and labor budget dictated by the Producers. The Technical Director will act as Lead Builder during the build. They will also coordinate the strike on 03/02/2020. The Technical Director is responsible for fostering a safe, non-hostile work environment and ensuring that the best possible product goes on stage through implementing all technical requirements safely and within budget. Experience in carpentry and construction required; knowledge of all areas of technical theatre needed.,
