We are a popular event production company looking for skilled craftpersons to help design, fabricate and install scenic pieces, sets and props for special events.,

Design and fabrication work is on a project by project basis however, additional and steady work as an AV/Lighting Tech is available.,
,
Candidates must:,
,
- Have carpentry and set design ,
experience,
-Be reliable and able to act in a ,
mature and professional manner,
-Possess a solid work ethic,
-Have an eye for design and detail,
-Have a valid drivers license, a ,
good driving record, valid auto ,
insurance and reliable ,
transportation,
- Be able to lift 50+ lbs,
-Be comfortable working at heights ,
and on ladders,
-Be able to work weekends,
,
The job is part time and weekends are required. ,
,
Travel to and from event locations throughout Chicago and the suburbs from our Schaumburg office is required.,
,
Experience in carpentry and theater and/or special event set design, fabrication and installation is required. ,
,
Sewing skills are also a plus.,
,
