Job Description

Raue Center for the Arts is looking for a Stage Manager to join the team of School House Rock LIVE! Jr., our upcoming spring children\x92s production. School House Rock Live! Jr. is a production of the Raue Center of the Arts educational SAGE on Stage program and will run May 1st - May 3rd at the Raue Center for the Arts in downtown Crystal Lake.,

Successful candidates will have experience in stage management with demonstrable skills with excel, or equivalent, in creating show run paper work and experience in working with youth, high school and/or younger. ,

Production Dates:,
3/9 - Production Meeting,
3/28 - Production Meeting,
4/11 - Production Meeting ,
4/25 - Final Production meeting / Designer Run,
3/27 - Scenic load in,
3/28 thru 3/30 - Tech Rehearsals ,
5/1 - Opening Performance 10a,
5/3 - Closing Performance,

Additional meetings and paint calls may be scheduled ad hoc.,

This position requires attendance to all rehearsal and performances. Rehearsals will begin April 6th. Rehearsals will be held Mondays, Wednesday and Friday 6:30-8:30p and Saturdays noon 4p. Tech rehearsals will be held daily from 4/28-4/30 from 5-10p. Performances will be Friday 5/1 @ 10a, Saturday 5/1 @ 10a + 2p, and Sunday @ 6p. All times listed are official start time and attendance of the SM would bee needed at leas 30 minutes beforehand. ,
