Jean\x92s Playhouse at the North Country Center for the Arts, a 260-seat traditional summer stock theatre located in the rural resort town of Lincoln, NH, is seeking a Music Director / Keyboard Player for its 2020 Summer Season, which features NUNSENSE A-MEN, MAMMA MIA!, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, and DEATHTRAP.,

The Music Director is responsible for the vocals and accompaniment surrounding the musicals of the season. Responsibilities include teaching music and harmonies to the cast, accompanying rehearsals on the piano, modifying orchestrations to sound as bright and full as possible using a limited number of musicians, working with the band, and playing lead keyboard while conducting the performances. Candidates should have strong piano skills, music direction experience, good leadership skills, a collaborative nature, and a detail-oriented mind. This season\x92s musicals are NUNSENSE A-MEN, MAMMA MIA!, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, and THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES. We may be looking for 2 music directors to split the season between music director and playing second keyboard in the pit. The position may be required to play some marketing events where performers sing songs from the shows. Knowledge of Mainstage and providing your own equipment is preferred, but not required.,
