Job Description

Chester Theatre Company, is a professional theatre company located in the foothills of the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. CTC produces 4-5 plays each summer, performed by actors, directors and designers from across the country. Master Electrician,
The Master Electrician will be responsible for:,
-Developing working plans from the lighting and sound designs,
-Working with Production Manager to place material/rental orders in a timely fashion,
-Collaborating with the lighting and sound designers to ensure all plans can be executed on budget,
-Loading in of all lighting and sound equipment,
-Leading all change over and focus calls,
-Operating the light board for all tech rehearsals and conducting dimmer check for performances,
-Maintaining the lighting and sound equipment throughout the performance run,
-Tracking inventory of both owned and rented electrics,
-Supervising and training all interns on electrics responsibilities.,

Compensation: $400 / week plus housing as needed. Partial weeks will be prorated.,
