Job Description

Chester Theatre Company, is a professional theatre company located in the foothills of the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. CTC produces 4-5 plays each summer, performed by actors, directors and designers from across the country. In its 31st seasons, CTC has earned a reputation for producing the best in contemporary theatre, consistently winning top honors with area critics. CTC productions have gone on to Off Broadway engagements and regional, national, and international tours.,
Master Electrician,
The Master Electrician will be responsible for:,
-Developing working plans from the lighting and sound designs,
-Working with Production Manager to place material/rental orders in a timely fashion,
-Collaborating with the lighting and sound designers to ensure all plans can be executed on budget,
-Loading in of all lighting and sound equipment,
-Leading all change over and focus calls,
-Operating the light board for all tech rehearsals and conducting dimmer check for performances,
-Maintaining the lighting and sound equipment throughout the performance run,
-Tracking inventory of both owned and rented electrics,
-Supervising and training all interns on electrics responsibilities.,
Dates: May 25th-August 21st, 2020,
Compensation: $400 / week plus housing as needed. Partial weeks will be prorated.,
