The Cape Playhouse values tradition, hard work, kindness, generosity, passion, and professionalism. The candidates must have a well-developed understanding of scenic construction skills. The carpenters will contribute heavily to the building, installing, and striking of each set throughout the season-and may be required to be on the run crew of the bigger shows, depending on the need. ,

Applicants should have two years shop experience, and familiarity with reading both hand-drafted and CAD drawings. Desired, but not necessary: MIG welding, drafting, tool maintenance, and theatrical rigging (hemp house especially). ,

Position runs from mid-May to early-September. Weekly salary plus housing.,
