The Meadows Production Crew at the Aspen Music Festival + School (AMFS) is responsible for the production of all concerts, rehearsals and events which occur at the Meadows campus, including the two mainstage venues of AMFS \x96 the 2,050-seat Benedict Music Tent and the 500-seat Harris Concert Hall. As part of the Meadows Production Crew, the Orchestra Stage Manager will be responsible for the effective operation of an assigned orchestral ensemble. ,

Orchestra Stage Managers (4) will be responsible for all of the production needs of their assigned orchestra. Additional stage crew responsibilities will be given (see below) as assigned. Orchestra Stage Managers interface closely with orchestra managers, librarians, artists, faculty, and audio staff to create logistically efficient paperwork including stage plots and run sheets for each concert cycle (1 per week). ,

Stage Crew (4): Daily tasks include implementing stage sets and changeovers, handling all concert and production equipment including everything from stands and chairs to rigging a line-array, electrics work, carpentry, stage managing chamber music concerts, recitals and master classes, and tending to occasional custodial needs. This team will also be working/communicating effectively with world-renowned artists, faculty, students, orchestra managers, librarians, house managers, audio engineers, and fellow production staff to ensure excellence for performers and audience members. ,

These positions are full time, seasonal positions with occasional overtime. Evening and weekend shifts are required and frequent. ,

"Qualifications: Candidates must have prior technical/production experience in the arts in stage work, electrics, rigging, and/or carpentry - prior classical music production and/or Vectorworks experience are a plus. The ideal candidate must be strong, proactive, intuitive, respectful, and energetic. Candidates must be able to prioritize well, to complete multiple tasks quickly and efficiently and to utilize a variably paced schedule in a productive manner. The ability to lift 50 plus pounds preferred. A valid drivers license with a clean record is recommended. A DMV background check will be conducted for candidates hired. ",
