Job Description

Annapolis Shakespeare Company seeks a Professional Live Sound Engineer for You\x92re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, with potential renewal for the balance of the season. ,

This is a part time position, we are seeking local hires, and cannot offer housing or cover relocation expenses.,
,
Responsibilities Include: ,
Assigned as audio engineer to run live audio for musical theater performances, as well as production rehearsals. (Additional work available (but not required) including special events, cabaret shows, etc. for additional compensation.),
Engineer for both Front of House and Monitor mixes,
Responsible for audio adjustments, maintaining safe audio levels, while providing a professional mix.,
Ensure proper care, maintenance, and repair of audio equipment,
Assist with production throughout the facility,
Set up stage for performances,
Perform sound check with performers,
Make audio adjustments during performance as necessary,
Strike equipment from stage and secure in Audio closet as necessary,
Provide support for both internal and external events when necessary,

Compensation:,
Stipend ranges from $150-200 per 4 show weekend, depending on experience with equipment and availability. ,
This is a part time position with weekday evening rehearsals and weekend rehearsals and performances. ,

Qualifications: ,
Must have intermediate skills in all areas of live audio production, including digital mixing consoles, signal flow, wireless microphones, stagecraft, and troubleshooting.,
Proficiency with X32/M32 and Midas Pro Series consoles preferred,
Prefer experience with Stage Production,
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously,
