Des Moines Metro Opera is a professional opera company that produces three operas in repertory during its summer season. The production staff is comprised of experienced designers and technicians from regional theaters, universities, and opera companies from around the United States. It\x92s a great opportunity to gain work experience in a professional environment. The 48th season includes: Platee, Sweeney Todd, and Queen of Spades. DMMO looks for creative, professional individuals who have a strong work ethic and are self-motivated.,

The electrics crew loads-in, repairs, modifies the rep plot for the season and changeover specials and color between shows. Electric crew provides run support for some of the shows. Professional or specific academic experience in the field of lighting production required.,
