"The Rev Theatre Co. (Formerly FLMTF/MGR) seeks a qualified Front of House Manager for our 2020 season, including Rocky, Witness Uganda, State Fair and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story",

The Front of House Manager is responsible for the efficient day to day running of the Merry- Go-Round\x92s front of house operations. They lead and develop the team of assistants and ushers, in both their activity and their approach, to provide at all times a safe, warm, friendly and vibrant environment for audiences, visitors and staff. ,
While the Audience Services Manager and Director are responsible for overseeing the entire Audience Services Department, the Front of House Manager will assist in coordinating the team of FOH assistants and volunteer ushers on a day to day basis, ensuring that they are kept up to date with internal communications and that the FOH staff and volunteers are providing effective customer service. ,
Reports to the Audience Services Manager and Audience Services Director ,
Work environment is fast paced and the ability to multi-task, take direction and have self-motivation with a desire to learn is a must. ,
Key responsibilities:,
\x95Responsible for the day-to-day management of the theatre ,
\x95Lead operational responsibility for the safety and security of the theatre by ensuring that all systems and procedures for security are followed at all times ,
\x95Act as the duty manager as required for evening week and weekend performances when Audience Services supervisors are not present ,
\x95Carry out regular checks to ensure all areas of theatre including stage, seats, offices, bathrooms etc. are well maintained,
\x95Lead the FOH team and volunteer ushers with effective communication to ensure everything operates smoothly and to motivate staff team and volunteers ,
\x95Provide excellent customer service and care in accordance with the MGR policies and procedures,
\x95Deal with matters raised by attending patrons by following MGR\x92s policy and procedures to ensure that the patron\x92s needs are met ,
\x95Produce metric reports for the Audience Services Department ,
\x95Provide support to the box office team ,
