Job Description

The Technical Director will have primary responsibility for production and support at the Johnston Center, as well as supervise and ensure the completion of production elements for Fine Arts and other campus events and performances. This position will include supervising students in the scene shop, paint area, lighting shop, and props shop; managing and maintaining a staff of student employees to perform in events services positions. This position is responsible for extensive production-specific collaboration with faculty and students in the pursuit of rising production value.,

Reports to: Lead Faculty for Theatre and the Division Chair for Fine Arts/Communication,

Supervises: Student technicians backstage and offstage; events services and front desk student technicians.,
