The Deck Electrican\x92s responsibilities include: ,
,
-Assisting the LX Head and Head Carpenter in the running of the show, including channel, dimmer and equipment checks and lighting equipment repairs.,
-Diagnosing and repairing broken Varilite 2500 Spot and Wash fixtures.,
-Running a deck track that includes some prop, scenic, and primarily electrics moves.,
-Tracking, reporting, maintaining and repairing all set electrics on the show, with assistance from the Electrics department. ,
-Working in conjunction with the Head Carpenter and Deck Carpenter/Props Runner to accomplish pre and post show duties.,
-In conjunction with Head Carpenter, LX Head and Deck Carpenter/Props Runner: work to maintain and make any necessary repairs on the show, including props and scenery.,
-Responding in a timely fashion to show-related correspondence, including but not limited to: supplies ordering, technical issues, and questions surrounding the run of show. ,

Required Qualifications: ,
,
-At least 2 years of experience as a theatrical electrician,
-Experience with maintenance on Varilite fixtures (VL Certification a plus),
-Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet,
-Comfortable working on ladders, Personnel (Genie) lifts etc. Climb up Little Giants and in Genies,
-Lift 60lb. overhead,
