"The Hangar Theatre Company, celebrating its 46th season as one of the nations pre-eminent summer theatres, is once again offering Design Fellowships for the next wave of early career designers looking to make that educational to professional transition. The Design Fellows will design 5 productions during the summer and serve as first or second assistants for professional designers on 2 of our Mainstage Shows. This summer we are producing 5 Mainstage shows (Tiny Beautiful Things, Urinetown, The Secret Garden, Outside Mullingar, and Queens Girl in the World), 5 children\x92s theatre shows (KIDDSTUFF), and 4 experimental shows (The Wedge). At minimum each fellow must be completing an undergrad degree in May 2019. All fellows will collaborate with their peers on the shows as well as with the early career directors selected by the Drama League of New York. Work environment is positive, challenging, and holds high artistic integrity. ",
