Jean\x92s Playhouse at the North Country Center for the Arts, a 260-seat traditional summer stock theatre located in the rural resort town of Lincoln, NH, is seeking an Assistant Technical Director / Master Carpenter for its 2020 Summer Season, which features NUNSENSE A-MEN, MAMMA MIA!, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, and DEATHTRAP.,

The Assistant Technical Director / Master Carpenter reports directly to the Technical Director and assists in supervising all aspects of the shop, as well as contributing heavily to the construction, installation, and striking of each set over the course of the summer. The ATD must have strong skills in all construction aspects, including carpentry, rigging, welding, and other fabrication techniques. Candidates should be experienced builders, capable of taking direction, completing projects from start to finish on deadline, and working on a fast-paced schedule. Lifting items up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working with construction tools are day to day activity in this position. Candidates must have a valid driver\x92s license,
