The Hangar Theatre, an Equity summer theatre celebrating its 46th season as one of the nation\x92s pre-eminent summer theatres, is seeking a Carpentry/Electrics Swing Intern. This summer we are producing 5 Mainstage shows (Tiny Beautiful Things, Urinetown, The Secret Garden, Outside Mullingar, Queens Girl in the World), 5 children\x92s theatre shows, and 4 experimental shows. The position is expected to assist in the overall operation of both the electrics department and scene shop. Must be knowledgeable in basic carpentry and electrics. Work environment is positive, challenging, and holds high artistic integrity. The intern may get the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Technical Director or Master Carpenter on a children\x92s theatre production and/or on an experimental production. ,,
