Maine State Music Theatre (MSMT), a CORST X AEA resident summer music theatre, is looking for a STITCHER/DRAPER for our 2020 season. ,,
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Costume construction, alteration, stitching (from basic hand sewing to garment construction and detailed finishing), millinery, craft construction such as footwear, jewelry, specialty costumes, accessories, hat maintenance and construction, assisting with fittings as needed, performing other duties as assigned by Costume Shop Manager as needed.,

Successful candidate will have knowledge of costume construction in a variety of machine sewing techniques (domestic + industrial), hand sewing techniques, ability to communicate with other team members concerning problems and possible solutions, good interpersonal and communication skills, patterning, draping, crafts and millinery skills. ,
