The Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, TN is looking for and energetic Master Electrician to add to our 2020 season. The right candidate is experienced with moving lights,LEDs, ETC dimmers and the ETC ION board. Not afraid of heights and has no trouble lifting 40LBS. Looking to bring someone in soon so as to learn from current ME the ins and outs of our building before they leave. ,,
Job responsibilities include the following but are not limited too -,
Responsible for maintain our lighting plots and equipment in all of our spaces.,
Keeping inventories,
Channel checks before every performance,
Connecting with lighting designers and implementing their designs,
Being very organized with your association with the designers,
Designing and running all concerts and special one day events,
Setting up of equipment in other venues as needed for special events,
Helping with the design and execution of projections ,
Change overs, load ins, strikes of all shows with the rest of the production team. Even helping with things that are not lighting concerned.,
On occasion helping with loading and unloading of rentals going in and out of warehouse on occasion. ,
There is opportunity to continue the relationship into 2021 and a chance to design productions in that season. ,

Housing consists of a single bedroom in a house with others having a community living room and kitchen. Only expenses are pitching in on internet and cable. Crossville is a small town in the heart of the Cumberland Mountains and situated on I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville. ,
