Job Description

Sound Apprentice will be supervised by the Sound Supervisor and have the opportunity to support and observe Sound Designers throughout the 2020 Summer Season.,

Duties include: Supporting the Sound Supervisor with setup for multiple productions in several different venues, assisting with sound maintenance and production notes throughout the runs, helping with load-in procedures for special events and productions, and running backstage crew positions as assigned by the Production Manager. ,

The Sound Apprentice will also assist in sound design and board operation for the Educational Youth Theatre Workshops and special events as needed. ,
,
Ideal candidates will have experience working with handheld and lavalier microphones,,
Music literacy and/or working knowledge of some musical instruments a plus.,
