How You Will Do It:,
,
\x95Develop appropriate lighting design based on project parameters, budget and client needs,
\x95Advise on project timeline, schedule, budget, and lighting requirements including opportunities for cost savings,
\x95Create and update appropriate equipment lists assisting with procurement and coordination of outside vendors,
\x95Coordinate on-site setup, optimizing systems for the best quality, providing technical direction to lighting team, addressing client needs and resolving problems efficiently with practical solutions ,
\x95Assist with strike of event space(s), ensuring correct equipment handling and storage,
\x95Oversee maintenance and repairs for all ITC-owned lighting equipment including asset and lifecycle management activities,
\x95Communicate regularly regarding project timelines and progress to ensure needs + expectations are consistently exceeded; escalate any issues or concerns as needed,
\x95Participate in end of event reviews to ensure client satisfaction and propose any process improvement initiatives,
\x95Create and update documentation related to equipment design, configuration, and programming,
\x95Maintain working knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures of stage, set, sound and lighting design and implementation; stage management; media integration; stage carpentry; video and projection systems and appropriate safety precautions and procedures,
\x95Research and recommend emerging technologies, solutions, and best practices ,
\x95Provide mentoring, best practices, and professional development to technical staff,

What You Need:,
\x95Minimum of five years\x92 experience in live event productions including logistics, staging, rigging, A/V, and construction,
\x95Expert-level technical lighting design skills,
\x95Minimum of five years\x92 experience supervising road crews (including union),
\x95Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, VectorWorks, and AutoCAD,
\x95Fluent with GrandMA2 consoles + networking,
\x95Capability to function as the Rigging Lead for small events ,
\x95Compelling communicator (verbal + written) with strong project management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously,
\x95Proven ability to maintain composure against obstacles; solving problems with keen insight,
\x95Adept at building relationships (internal + external) and working in a team environment with proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on other\x92s ideas, giving due appreciation and bringing out the best in others,
\x95Willingness to work nonstandard work hours, weekends and travel frequently (must possess a valid passport),
\x95Must have a safe driving record with a Class B driver\x92s license or be willing and able to obtain, Class A is preferred,
"\x95Bachelors Degree in technical theater or similar field of study preferred",
\x95Accredited with (or be willing to obtain) ETCP Electrician and Arena Rigging certification,
