Des Moines Metro Opera is a professional opera company that produces three operas in repertory during its summer season. The production staff is comprised of experienced designers and technicians from regional theaters, universities, and opera companies from around the United States. It\x92s a great opportunity to gain work experience in a professional environment. The 48th season includes: Platee, Sweeney Todd, and Queen of Spades. DMMO looks for creative, professional individuals who have a strong work ethic and are self-motivated.,

Duties include but are not limited to:,
\x95Working under the Technical Director to help prepare, build, and modify all scenery during the DMMO season. ,
\x95Assist the ATD or Master Carpenter in the repair, modification, or build of any shop or theater improvements. ,
\x95As needed, assist in overnight changeovers or run crew, if needed to cover a position caused by short term sickness or injury on the Stage Crew.,

Dates + Fee:,
May 26, 2020 through July 24, 2020. DMMO provides a weekly stipend, travel stipend, and free housing.,
