Wild Kratts Live seeks a stage manager to run it\x92s touring productions in Spring 2020, due to a crew change mid-season.,,
Wild Kratts Live is a live stage kids show based on the popular PBS animated series starring Chris and Martin Kratt. The show plays mostly one-night engagements, with fast paced load-ins, shows, and load-outs. ,

The stage manager will act as primary production contact for local labor and production staff. Stage manager will assist different departments with load-in as needed.,
During the show, the Stage Manager calls lighting and rail cues, and triggers audio/video cues in qLab. ,
After shows, duties will vary depending on venue, but generally involve talent management for meet + greets, and assisting department heads in load-out as needed.,

Responsibilities:,
Oversee load-in and work alongside touring crew leads to setup show. ,
Interface with local stewards and production staff about schedule, labor calls, and logistics.,
Call the show from backstage and operate audio/video computers during the show.,
Update and maintain paperwork necessary for the run of the show.,
File rehearsal and performance reports on a daily basis, including notes by department about repairs, upkeep, etc.,

Qualifications:,
Experience calling shows, and managing run crew.,
Experience working with and supervising IATSE crews, and familiarity with basic union rules and working conditions.,
Basic proficiency with qLab 4,
Familiarity with lighting systems, control, and terminology a plus.,

Per posting details.,
Per diem provided, some meals provided, accommodation and all travel costs are covered by the tour. Some dates are bus and not hotel accommodations depending on schedule and routing.,
