The Rev Theatre Company (formerly Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival/MGR Playhouse) seeks a dynamic, energetic and driven Marketing Sales Associate. This position is based in Auburn, NY and is responsible for creative thinking and strategizing to achieve upwards of $500K in annual revenues in the following areas: ,

\x95ticket sales, ,
\x95Playbill advertising, ,
\x95new business,
\x95existing local, regional and national business partnerships. ,
,
The Marketing Sales Associate will collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and several seasonal marketing Interns to execute the myriad of tasks, and events to meet or exceed sales targets. The position reports to the Producing Artistic Director and collaborates with many internal departments. The ideal candidate will be a leader and will bring a highly driven, self-motivated approach to this creative workplace. ,

Ideal candidates will thrive in an environment requiring:,
\x95Strong sales and/or advertising experience and proven track record in sales with budgets upwards of $1M,
\x95Experience with advertising and marketing, preferably for the arts, not-for-profit or similar environment;,
\x95Budget creation, management and reconciliation;,
\x95Contract negotiations for sales and media including digital, print, TV and radio advertising deals;,
\x95Copy creation and editing including press releases, brochure writing, sales pitches etc.,
\x95Brainstorming and vetting guerrilla marketing tactics to drive sales,
\x95Experience in public speaking and public presentations;,
\x95Community outreach, networking and relationship building;,
\x95Working with media partners, PR companies, reviewers, managing media appearances etc.,
Qualifications / Working Requirements / Compensation:,

College degree; ability and willingness to work long/varied hours in a fast paced environment; very organized, flexible and adaptable; upbeat and proactive approach; self-motivator with strong management and leadership skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with Microsoft Office (Word + Excel); able to lift 25lbs.
