Technical Director Job Description,
Oversee all technical elements of theatre productions, coordinating between heads of departments, ensuring scenic/technical deadlines are on schedule, and that all departments work together towards the goal of a successful production.,
Work closely with Scenic Designer to construct their design.,
Work closely with Stage Manager, Designer and Producers to merge all technical and performance needs into one cohesive production.,
Act as hands on chief/supervisor for all technical elements of shows (two plays, five musicals), leading ATD in managing apprentices in construction, load in, technical rehearsals, strike, storage and maintenance of productions.,
Ensure that shop is run smoothly, cleanly and efficiently and is ready for presentation of \x93shop show\x94 technical rehearsals on the set as built in the scene shop.,
Some facilities maintenance and repair.,
Responsible leader needed for this fast paced environment.,
