Job Description

Williams Street Repertory is looking for a Sound Designer to join the creative team of An Act of God, our upcoming summer play. An Act of God by David Javerbaum, directed by Kevin Wiczer will run June 19th-July 19th at the Raue Center for the Arts in downtown Crystal Lake. Successful candidates will have demonstrable skills in sound design, strong communication skills, proficiency with QLab software, and availability for all required production dates.,

6/3 - Designer Run / Production Meeting,

6/8 thru 6/11 - Sound load in,
6/12 - Designated \x93Quiet Time\x94,
6/13 thru 6/18 - Technical Rehearsals,
6/19 - Opening Performance,

Additional meetings may be scheduled ad hoc.,

The Raue Center Audio Supervisor will be made available to assist with setup, and provide support to the designer during tech week. Raue Center staff will be responsible for operation and maintenance of design for the run of the production. Designers will be responsible for their own housing and transportation to and from the venue. Local area candidates preferred.,
