Job Description
The Firehouse Center for the Arts in Newburyport, MA is looking to add 1 or 2 more scenic carpenters to its team. The position is hired on a per show basis. We run a 4 main stage show season with numerous other projects in between. Most of our work is with wood, but having other material skills such as welding, is definitely helpful. We are starting to work on shows for other venues as well so we are in need of someone who is reliable, and whom we could send out with sets if needed for install potentially on their own. Production department is growing, as will the need for carpenters, so work will continue to be available for the right person (s). We do have work available immediately as well. ,
