FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM,
The Wilma Theater is now accepting applications for our Production and Stage Management Fellowship positions for the 2020-21. Fellowships in Production and Stage Management are awarded to candidates who have demonstrated significant interest and experience in their chosen area and who possess a willingness to learn new skills required for the position. Fellows are employed full-time for the entire season and receive the following compensation: $400/week, health insurance, and various other benefits.,
The Production Fellow will work closely with the Technical Director and Production Manager. Duties may include set construction and painting, load-in, strike, light hang/electrics, prop maintenance, and serving on running crew for productions. The successful candidate will have demonstrated significant previous experience in at least one of the above areas of production, as well as a willingness to learn new skills as required. Strong problem solving, communication skills, and adaptability are a must.,
The Stage Management Fellow will work closely with the Production Stage Manager, serving as the Assistant Stage Manager for all productions. Duties may include being on-book for rehearsals, organizing/tracking props, serving on running crew for productions, and serve the productions as needed. The successful candidate will have demonstrated prior interest and experience in stage management, possess excellent communication skills, be detailed oriented and flexible.,
