The Wardrobe Supervisor will be working each performance, overseeing and participating in the run of the show,

The Wardrobe Supervisor reports to the,
Costume Shop manager and Stage Manager. ,

The Wardrobe Supervisor is,
"accountable for each productions costumes and wigs once they leave the Costume",
shop and begin technical rehearsal. Costumes may be defined as all costumes, jewelry, shoes, makeup, wigs, and all other costume elements whether constructed, rented or obtained as they relate to Center Repertory Company\x92s production needs. ,

The Wardrobe Supervisor takes direction from the Stage Manager when directly working on a production in tech, dress, or performance. ,

The Wardrobe Supervisor is responsible for managing load In/Out, run of shows, general maintenance + upkeep of detailed costumes including laundry, and managing the dressers during the run of shows.,

Essential Functions/Primary Duties and Responsibilities:,
,
-In advance of first dress rehearsal, acquire familiarity with each,
show, its costumes, and specific needs.,
,
"-Meet with Costume Shop Manager prior to each shows tech.",
,
-Attend meetings and rehearsals as deemed necessary by the Production Manager.,
,
-Communicate with Production Manager and to discuss status and needs of the show in tech/dress/performance, and plans for the organization of costumes for upcoming productions.,
,
-Act as liaison between Actors/Stage Manager/Costume Designer during,
the run of the show.,
,
-Ensure proper labeling, hanging, storage and preset of all costume,
pieces. Keep dressing lists/piece lists up to date.,
,
-Assist actors with costumes and changes. Choreograph and facilitate,
quick changes. Develop tracks for each dresser and/or self. Create run,
sheets as needed.,
,
-Run all costumed performances including tech and dress rehearsals.,
,
-Daily upkeep of costumes.,
,
-Create + execute a cleaning schedule for all garments.,
,
-Oversee cleaning, repair, and refurbish all costume pieces as needed. Knowledge of machine sewing and fabrics is essential.,

-Oversee all aspects of costume strike,
