Job Description

Music Theatre Wichita - the largest subscribed not-for-profit arts organization in the state - has earned an international reputation for excellence, drawing upwards of 65,000 theatregoers each season. Over the course of 12 weeks during the summer, MTWichita recruits 75 technicians and designers to build and produce five Broadway-caliber shows inside the Century II performing arts complex in downtown Wichita. Many of the sets, props, and costumes we create will enter our ever-increasing inventory of rentals packages that travel all across the United States during the other nine months of the year. Compensation is comprised of a competitive weekly salary starting at $475/wk for entry-level positions. Those with more experience or in positions with greater authority will make more.
