Job Description
The Old Globe, San Diego\x92s largest regional theatre, seeks candidates for a summer season Assistant Technical Director. Responsibilities include drafting (AutoCAD), engineering, and project management. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of scenery construction and automation. A high degree of skill in AutoCAD is required. The position runs from mid-April to September. The Old Globe produces 14-productions each year in three theatres, which typically include two enhanced pre-Broadway musicals. The scene shop is a fully equipped 14,000-square foot facility with CNC router capabilities and extensive metal-working capacity. Please provide drafting samples with your submission.
