The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is seeking applications for Scenic Carpenters for its 2020 summer season. Significant scenic fabrication experience is required, preferably in a professional environment. Experience with metal fabrication is desirable. The ideal candidates will have demonstrated scenic fabrication skills, the ability to read and understand complex construction drawings and be self-motivated. ,,
Most positions are available for the build period of the Festival, May 19 - July 11. Several positions are available for the full-season, May 19 - August 11. Housing is available at a reduced cost beginning on May 18. ,
