The Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute seeks to add a superhuman lead Audio Engineer/Designer to our team, as we prepare to expand to a second campus in 2020. This individual will be responsible for one campus only, leading the design and execution for two full-scale musicals with a team of professionals and student apprentices. SSTI is an unrivaled regional theatre experience created for exceptional high school students from across the world.,

"This individual (assisted by a collegiate apprentice, and high school students working under his/her supervision) will be responsible for the entire audio department for our two summer productions (The Producers and The Drowsy Chaperone). Our console is a Yamaha M7CL-48. The individual will also be tasked with teaching duties, as apprentices and high school student will be working along side them as they do their job. It is not a classroom environment, but rather a learn as we go style of instruction.",

At SSTI, we are shaping the next generation of theatre performers and technicians, and every staff member bears that significant task daily. The ideal candidate will possess the leadership skills needed to serve as a role model for the collegiate and high school students working within their department. This position is traditionally held by a graduate student or recent graduate. The staff member will also be offered free housing and three meals a day in exchange for serving as a resident assistant in one of our 4br/2ba apartment suites located on the beautiful South Carolina coast.,
