The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is seeking applications for interns in the areas of Scenic Carpentry and Scenic Art for the 2020 summer season. Experience is required in the internship area applied for. In addition to basic skills in their area, the ideal candidates should be self-motivated, easy to get along with and eager to acquire new skills in their area. ,

At the time of the internship, candidates must be currently working towards an undergraduate degree in a field related to the area of their internship. While internships are unpaid, housing is provided and up to six hours of college credit can be taken at no cost. ,

These positions are full summer, May 19 - August 11. Interns become part of the run/changeover crews when the Festival opens. While internships are unpaid, housing is provided from May 18 \x96 August 12 and up to six hours of college credit can be taken at no cost. ,
