Scope of Job:,
Supports and assists the Entertainment Department Management team, reporting directly to the Entertainment Technical Supervisor. Produces, manages, and plans project installs for future events resort wide in collaboration with the Show Production Specialist and Entertainment Technical Supervisor. This position maintains the functionality of all technical systems on a daily basis in order to assure the quality of the guest experience at LEGOLAND Florida Resort.,

Main Responsibilities:,
+#61607;Assists in Producing the Entertainment Technician schedule. Oversees Scenic / Technical team on a daily basis to ensure show quality is maintained and adherence to operating procedures is followed at all times.,
+#61607;Manages the preventative maintenance schedule for all Entertainment equipment as it relates to the scenic shop and schedules the Technical team for work calls as required,
+#61607;Maintains inventory of equipment in the scenic shop and submits purchase requests to the Technical Supervisor to maintain sufficient shelf stock.,
+#61607;Ensures SOP\x92s and checkout sheets are kept up to date and monitors the training standards of all technical positions. ,
+#61607;Works alongside the team and demonstrates LEGOLAND Florida\x92s performance/service expectation by example.,
+#61607;Able to carry out all Technician duties as outlined in the Technician job descriptions. ,
+#61607;Works closely with the Entertainment Technical Supervisor to aid in the design and implementation of new technology to help enhance the technical aspects of the resort.,
+#61607;Acts as a liaison and support for the Entertainment Technical Supervisor on a daily basis.,
+#61607;Seeks solutions to any MC issues in cooperation with the Supervisor.,
+#61607;Responsible for informing the supervisor of any possible delays, cancellations or problems that may occur whenever necessary. ,

Managers/supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety + Security within their team, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees in their teams are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.,

Background and Experience:,
Requires at least two years of experience in theme park technical entertainment or closely related field. A strong understanding of most of the following fields is required; Scenic Carpentry, Scenic Painting Techniques, Molding and Casting Techniques, and Rigging. Requires excellent organizational and planning skills, self-motivated and demonstrated initiative. Leads by example with a demonstrated history of supporting colleagues and a team player. Requires strong problem solving skills and dedication to providing outstanding Guest Service. Requires the ability to remain calm under pressure. ,

Preferred Experience:,
\x952 + Year of Theme Park Related Experience related to scenic carpentry, Scenic painting, prop manufacturing and leadership. ,
\x953 + Years of Experience with Scenic Carpentry and Advanced Building Techniques ,
\x95Experience, Understanding, and ability to train in the safe use of power tools including but not limited to table saw, panel saw, miter saw, routers, palm and belt sanders, jig saw, circular saw, reciprocating saw, etc.,
\x952 + Years of Scenic Shop Management (I.E. Scenic Projects, Shop Supply Levels, Shop Cleanliness and Safety) ,
\x952 + Years of Experience with Mold Making and Casting as it relates to theme park entertainment,
\x952 + Years of prop making and scenic painting as it relates to theme park entertainment ,
\x95Proven Leadership Skills and Able to Lead Teams of 2 \x96 10 ,
\x95Proven Ability of Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Skills,

Education:,
High school graduate or General Education Degree (or equivalent education and experience) is required. Basic Knowledge of Lighting, Audio, Pyrotechnics, Video Systems in the Entertainment Industry preferred.,

Physical Demands:,
+#61607;Ability to stand for sustained periods of time to attend on-site and off-site meetings, perform show activities and travel.,
