Job Description
The A1/Mixer is responsible for overseeing the operations of the audio department for three mainstage productions and all events at our unique Theater Tent in our 2020 Season. This position reports to the Director of Production.,

Responsibilities include:,
-Oversee all activities and safety of the Sound Department, including training and,
managing an intern.,
- Work with the Master Electrician, Production Carpenter, and Facilities Manager to oversee and execute the hang/installation and load out of the stage grid and related elements.,
- Responsible for maintaining audio systems, Qlab files, and back-line equipment through load-in, tech, and strike.,
- Work with Sound Designers to execute high-quality designs.,
- Mixing sound and facilitating audio needs for all events at the Theater Tent.,
- Maintain supplies and work with the Director of Production to manage budgets.,

Qualifications:,
- Demonstrated skills and working knowledge of technical theatrical practices.,
- Proficient in QLab and advance digital consoles (i.e. Yamaha CL5),
- Complete understanding of backstage etiquette.,
- Valid Drivers\x92 license and clean DMV record.,
- This position is physical in nature and required to work outdoors. The ability to climb ladders, lifts, reach above head. Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds and work outside, exposed to the elements.,
- This A1/Mixer is required to be in residence in the Hudson Valley from May through September. Housing and transportation are provided.,
