Buck\x92s Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp in New Milford, CT, is is a unique teenage program where campers have the freedom to choose their activities in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Campers work with qualified, professional artists and teachers who nurture and support their skills and interests in professionally equipped studios. Summer teaching positions are available in most visual art studios: Glassblowing, Woodworking, Ceramics, Sculpture, Metalsmithing/Jewelry, Video, Batik, Weaving, Sewing, Printmaking/Silkscreen, Culinary, Leather, Puppetry, Graphic Design, and Web Design. Plus openings in the Performing Arts: Music, Technical Theater (Set, Lighting/Sound Design, Costume Design). Also positions as Camp Nurse (RN or NP), House/Guidance Counselors and in sports (archery, fencing, lifeguard, tennis, martial arts and general sports).,,
Applicants should be 21 years or older (although we would consider 20 year olds), have strong communication skills, teaching experience, and sensitivity to the needs of young artists and adolescents. ,
