WARDROBE ASSISTANTS: ,
Ogunquit Playhouse, Ogunquit, Maine seeks experienced Wardrobe Assistants for our 6-production 2020 Mainstage Season. Approximate dates of employment: April \x96 November, 2020.,
,
Ideal Candidate: Must be detail-oriented and remain focused in a fast paced working environment. Wardrobe Run Crew experience required; sewing/stitching skills are encouraged.,
,
Job Duties/Expectations include (but are not limited to): ,
-Minor costume repairs ,
-Ensure proper cleaning, organization and delivery of costume pieces ,
-Assist with backstage quick changes ,
-Possess flexibility and positive backstage demeanor working with actors and other crew,
-Run each performance (8 shows/week) ,
-Assist in rehearsals and load-in/strike as necessary ,
-Assist with Children\x92s Theatre,
-Job requires ability to sit/stand for long periods of time, and bend, stoop, or kneel while assisting actors, staff, and designer in execution of duties as assigned,
-Job requires ability to lift, carry, move costumes and necessary equipment up and down stairs in varied lighting conditions,
