The historic Cape Playhouse in Dennis, MA- "the theatre where Broadway goes to summer"- is accepting resumes for an Electrics Apprentice for our 2020 summer season. We are proud to offer a variety of highly competitive apprenticeships that empower emerging professional theatre artists or individuals currently studying their field in college with the opportunity to develop their skills while exploring the inner workings of a professional theater while working alongside top directors, designers, and actors in American theatre. ,

The Electrics Apprentice will provide support for the design of each show in our season. The Electrics Apprentice, with guidance and mentoring from the Master Electrician, is responsible for running and maintaining the current show, while also prepping the upcoming production. Experience with the upkeep or maintenance of equipment is preferred. Knowledge of moving lights, and programming of console is helpful. ,
