InterAct is offering full-season apprenticeships to four (4) qualified graduates of a BA or BFA program, or emerging theatre professionals with equivalent experience. You will gain comprehensive experience working in all aspects of a professional theatre company\x92s operations, including production, literary, marketing, front-of-house and administration. Based on experience and interest, apprentices will also have an opportunity to work alongside our production teams, gaining hands-on practical experience in technical theatre.,

Apprentices are required to work 20 hours per week in the office assisting with marketing, development, facilities management, box office and customer service, office administration, and other needs that may arise. Apprentices also rotate through three roles for each main stage production serving as: House Manager, Box Office Manager, and Production Assistant/Assistant Stage Manager. There may be additional opportunities to work with community outreach, season selection, play development, and casting. Apprentices receive a monthly stipend; complimentary tickets; opportunities to work with Philadelphia-based and visiting artists; and direct access to staff for professional development consultation.,

InterAct will work with apprentice to establish flexible scheduling to allow apprentices to maintain jobs outside of their part-time commitment to InterAct, and there are typically opportunities for additional paid work at the theatre. Apprentices are contracted from early September through June. Housing and health benefits are not provided.,
