Job Description

In The Heights: SMT is looking to hire a choreographer (who can perform in the show if desired), stage manager and assistant stage manager, light designer/operator; sound designer/operator; set designer/crew head; costume designer /wardrobe assistant; musical director familiar with Sinfonia (and possibly plays keyboard) ; musicians (particularly percussion/ rhythm) for its production of IN THE HEIGHTS, to be performed 4/30\x975/10 (9 performances total Thursday-Sunday; Actor auditions will be end of February/early March, rehearsals will run from March 16- opening and the show closes 5/10. You will be asked to prepare 16 bars of 2 songs in the style of or from the show and a 30 sec monologue\x85dance TBD. Watch TPS for additional audition info.,
Each position is under an independent contract (W-9) and is required to design (if appropriate) and run the show (or have someone run the show for them), build is necessary and load-in and out.,
Also seeking a Technical Director or Production Stage Manager to oversee a smooth transition into and out of the show and aid in whatever technical elements need to be enhanced.,
Also seeking a run crew of 2-4 for the run.,
Must be free and available from 3/16-5/10.,
