Meadow Brook Theatre located on the Campus of Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan is searching for a Resident Head Wardrobe Technician. MBT will be in it\x92s 55th season, we fully produce 6 shows a season, remount \x93A Christmas Carol\x94 and host a Children\x92s series. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): ,
,
-Runs wardrobe crew for all shows throughout season ,
-Load in of costumes and strike/restocking,
-Paperwork for run plots and presets,
-Must see at least 2 runs of each show during the rehearsal period,
-Maintenance/quick fixes of costume pieces throughout show run,
-Dealing with mic issues during a run (i.e. changing out mic/mic packs if inoperable during a show),
-Coordinates and facilitates Laundry/Dry Cleaning and Wig Maintenance,
-Labels garments and under garments,
-Occasional costume shop hours,
-Hand sewing and machine sewing skills,
-Organizational skills,
-Must be PC savvy,
-Supervises interns,
-Maintenance of wardrobe areas,
-Positive, upbeat attitude is a plus,
-An undergraduate degree or 5 years professional experience in related field,
