Ogunquit Playhouse, Ogunquit, Maine seeks an experienced COSTUME SHOP SUPERVISOR for our 6-production 2020 Mainstage and Youth Programs + Children\x92s Camp productions. Approximate dates of employment: April \x96 September, 2020.,,

This strategic position is responsible for the coordination of all costumes in Ogunquit Playhouses season, with some design opportunities, while developing and maintaining a cognitive and cohesive shop staff.",

Job Duties/Expectations include (but are not limited to): ,
\x95Supervision of entire shop staff including Assistant Costume Shop Supervisor/First Hand, Draper, Stitcher, and various volunteers/over hire staff.,
\x95Oversight of all in house built pieces,
\x95Act as Costume Coordinator for any rental packages,
\x95Maintenance of budget and purchase/return reconciliation ,
\x95Arrange/attend fittings and take notes,
\x95Travel as necessary for fittings during New York City rehearsal processes,
\x95Work in collaboration with guest designers, creative teams, and production crew for ultimate show appearance ,
\x95Note shows during tech processes ,
\x95Assist load-in/load-out, packing, and organization of costumes or rental packages for each run ,
\x95Supervise purchasing of costume shop materials, supplies and equipment,
\x95Manage and update Costume Inventories for Playhouse rentals and stock items ,
\x95Maintain a Clean, Organized, and Positive working environment,
\x95Develop paperwork, in collaboration with Wardrobe Supervisor, for each show including look lists, costume/scene breakdown and entrance/exit and quick-change plots,
\x95Oversee guest designers and utilization of stock costumes/materials for Youth Programs + Children\x92s Camp productions,
