SUMMARY: The Carpenter\x92s job is to build the scenery for each production. This includes but not,
limited to: all carpentry, welding, rigging, load-in and strikes for each production during the,
season.,

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:,
- Construct scenery in the Scene Shop under the guidance of the Technical Director and the ATD.,
- Participate in shop clean up and organization projects as assigned.,
- Assist in maintenance and repairs to tools and scene shop.,
- Participate in all Load-In and Strikes of shows.,

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:,
- Previous experience in a scene shop desired.,

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:,
- Good carpentry skills.,
- Able to lift heavy scenery.,
- Able to work at 14\x92-0\x94 high.,
- Welding a plus, but not necessary.,
- Theatrical Rigging knowledge a plus, but not necessary.,
- Interpret and understand construction and designer drawings.,
- A positive attitude.,
- Good communication skills.,
- The ability to finish a project thoroughly \x96 with attention to detail.,
- Valid driver\x92s license needed.,
